About Mark Wyatt, Author

Hello, my name is Mark Wyatt, and welcome to my author page! I have been writing since I was a boy tapping at my mother's Smith-Corona electric typewriter, drawing and coloring a cover, and stapling it together to give to anyone who wanted one.

My first real book, The New Normal, was published in 2011 by Destiny Image Publishers, followed by Hog Washed, a small fable about a big change, (Westbow Publishing), and a few biographies of local and regional notables, including Jesus Is Lord: The Life and Legacy of Fred H. Wolfe.

I am also an award-winning playwright, with a one-act, Honey, I'm Home, published in 2012, and three full-length plays wonderfully produced at Mobile Theater Guild and Chickasaw Civic Theater: Calamine, Parcel Post, and I Miss You Already. (More information on my plays can be found at www.markwyattstageplays.com )

I have recently finished revisions on a literary, Southern gothic novel that I began ten years ago, and I am in the process of querying agents in hopes of seeing it in your hands and in bookstores soon.

Thank you for your interest, and keep checking back for updates!
